There are a few possible explanations for why you are unable to access SIT's electronic resources using your barcode and last name.
1) There is an extra character on your barcode if you are cutting and pasting it from an email or other document. Make sure there are 14 digits only. Delete any leading or ending characters (spaces, tab markers, etc).
2) Your last name must be entered in lower case letters. It is case-sensitive, so capitalizing your name will render it unrecognizable by our authentication system
3) The network you are using has a firewall installed that is preventing your access through the necessary port on the Internet. That can only be remedied by the network administrators where you are located (workplace, internet cafe, airport, etc).
