If you have requested a book, it will generally take about 7-14 days to receive it from a lending library. It depends on several factors: how popular the book is, how many (or how few) libraries own it, and how far away the lending library is from Brattleboro, Vermont.

If you have requestd articles, you will usually receive it within 72hours, since we rely primarily on electronic delivery between the lending library and you.  Again, it could take longer if the journal is not owned by many libraries.

Interlibrary Loan requests are only processed Monday through Friday, so if you place a request on Friday afternoon or over the weekend, it likely will not be processed and sent to lenders until Monday.
