Study Abroad students are given a barcode number, which is used to access all subscribed electronic resources that the Donald B. Watt Library provides, including Interlibrary Loan and full-text databases.
Library accounts for study abroad students are created and emailed to students approximately one month before their departure date.
If you do not think you received a barcode, please be sure to check your spam folder - some college email systems do not allow the email through the spam filter.
Please note that many students do not need a library barcode to begin preparation for their program. Students can access the LibGuide for their program and review required readings and assignments without a library barcode. Additionally, many programs require students to purchase texts and bring them on the program, and that information is on the LibGuide as well. A library barcode is only necessary for books that are available electronically through our library.
Students who wish to get an early start can use http://www.worldcat.org to locate required texts in a library near them.
